Carved humpback whale and baby.
This perfectly carved scrimshaw art piece is from a large fossilized ivory Walrus tooth. The bottom of the carving is actually the top of the tooth worn down chewing on crabs for many years. The graceful mother humpback whale is pushing her baby up to the surface for its first breath of air above the ocean's waves. The carving measures 1 1/2" H x 1" wide x 5/8" D. by Saddiq Gonzalez, Hawaii
